Continuing Nursing Education Accreditation South Texas Veterans Health Care System is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center 's Commission on Accreditation. This activity meets Type I criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements toward relicensure as established by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas. This activity provides 22.5 contact hours. Continuing Medical Education Accreditation This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of The University of Texas health Science Center at San Antonio Medical School and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Academic Center for Evidence-Based Nursing. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Medical School is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Medical School designates this educational activity for a maximum of 17 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. |
